I posted this in the Norton Identity Safe forum and it was suggestion that I also post it here for consideration....
I'm using N360 2013. For several of the sites I visit (mostly financial), in the Identity Safe login for those sites I have the "Require Identity Safe password before filing" option checked. This works, and when I go to one of these sites I have to enter my Vault password for the login information to be filled out.
I like this, because it means if anyone comes up to my PC while I am gone, they cannot login to these websites with my information since they need to know my Vault password, they will not automatically get logged in.
However, they can go to the vault icon on the Norton toolbar, select "Settings/Edit Logins", then go to the login information for that web site and click show password and it will show them the clear text password. A much more secure option would if the Vault (for sites that I have checked the "Require Identity Safe password before filing" option on) would not show the password for the site unless I re-enter the Vault password at that time, similar to what is done when I visit the web site.
