Just recieved a WAX RULES SET update that fixed the BOA and my local two page logins in id safe. THANKS!! ALF60
Hi ALF60,
Thanks for the update.
Thanks,
Senthil
what is this wax rules update?
Hi MSUGrad2k5,
WAX: means Web Analysis eXpert Engine is responsible for detecting, capturing and autofilling the logins filelds, form fields. Wax contains the updates for Identity Safe Logins/Forms autofill rules
Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Senthil
OK, now tell me how to update/fix it because I have been suffering from similar issues. I have seen a couple of other similar threads and one of the moderators has posted a link to a 'solution', but when clicking on it, it merely opens a new window to the same thread!
I have also posted my own problems, but haven't even gotten an acknowledgment yet:
Thanks.
Whenever we release WAX update, it will come through live update itself.
Could you provide the URLs in which you are having autofill or auto acquisition issues?
Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Senthil
Instead of beating a dead horse, here is the link I first made concerning this issue. Please note that, while I posted it in the Win8 CP forum, I clearly state that the issue was also present in Win7 x64/IE 9.
Also note that this issue is not limited to bank URLs, but ALL sites.
Thanks.
Hi MSUgrad2k5
I read your post which you have posted in http://community.norton.com/t5/Windows-8-Consumer-Preview/NIS-2012-Toolbar-errors-present-in-Win7-amp-Win8/td-p/679913 and know that you have issue with Window7 also, In that post we didn't see any url posted there. We need the list of urls (in which you are facing identity safe issue) to verify it from our end or you can report the issues in another way. After navigating particular site, From identity safe->Report issue->Fill the feedback form and submit.
Thanks,
Senthil
Well actually, the bank URL is right there in the screen shots I took, but here it is:
As far as submitting reports via the Report Issue feature, I've done that a million times.
Here's another example- not only is the Fill Forms toolbar not present, but when clicking Identity Safe, it doesn't even give an option to fill out the log-in information!
http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=u2p24ovh7h3u40h1ku0qb7nhn7;wwwRedirect
Here's another; again, no Fill Forms toolbar, no option to fill in from Identity Safe:

Another, though this is like the first- my wife and I each have our own ID's. If I select her ID, it just tries to sign-in with a random ID (i.e. mine OR hers). The option to select WHICH ID to use is not given until AFTER it has logged in!
I think you're getting the point here.
Thanks for reporting the issues, we will look into it.
Thanks,
Senthil.
