Identify safe backup

I am trying to back up my identity safe.  When i click on browse to select a folder to put it in it says the folder is empty.  No matter what i do it will not let me select a folder to put it in.  I even named a folder NPM files. Will not let me put it there either.

 

I would like to know how can get around this and back up my identity safe
