I'm glad that at last one can share identity safe passwords (etc) across multiple computers. This has been a pain since norton password manager daze...
However, our network administrator doesn't trust cloud storage - regardless of assurances about https links and encryption. I don't blame her for being extra paranoid...and I don't want to argue about trusting the cloud vs. local expertise.
Is it possible to setup an identity safe server on our local network and configure/redirect identity safe to it? Firewalled and restricted access (linux) servers on our local network are cheap and easy. This would provide sharing from machines in our local network (including when VPN tunneled). I don't care about the web portal, so it ought to be straightforward.
If so, what's involved? Is there documentation or experience?
If not, perhaps the symantec folks monitoring this forum can convey the request. I doubt I'm the only one in this situation.
Thanks.
