After searching the forum I do not believe there will be a direct solution but here goes anyway.

I had to use the Symantec removal tool to fix ccSvcHst memory leak problems.  In removing all products by identity safe data was lost.  I also was upgrading Norton Ghost to V14 as well.  I had a full computer backup before (using Ghost) before I did this uninstall.

Norton 360 V2 installed and so did Ghost etc.  However I have lost all my web logins, passwords etc from the Identity Safe.  I still have my full disk backup but of course do not have the slightest notion how to regain the Identity Safe file data.  I know the password but unless I want to spend a very large amount of time to re-ghost my drive and save a backup copy of the data and then reinstall everything I don't see any easy solution.

Does anyone know how to find the encrypted Identity Safe data file so I can copy it from my backup into my new configuration and retrieve my data?  From a prior post about synching two computers to use this file I assume all is lost...

There is no way to my knowledge to save and restore identity safe or log-ins. If there is I would be interested to update the Advisory note: Uninstalling Norton 360 v1 or V2, with or without reinstallation of either version . You can of course manually record this information including passwords and recreate the same on reinstallation but I accept this is less than ideal. Dare I say I use Keepass for permanent storage of such things.
