Last week I was getting prompts when I opened Identity Safe, to log in or create a web-based vault. I have been using Identity Safe for a long time- maybe 5 years. I made a conscious decision to keep my vault local. I called Norton tech Support and was told that my vault was copied to an on-line vault and that's the way Identity Safe works now. I no longer have the option of not using the on-line vault.
For the past couple days, when I log into Identity Safe there is no indication that I am using a web-based vault.
If this isn't true that I must use the web-based vault, tell me how to delete the on-line vault and keep my local vault.
If it is true that I must use the web-based vault, it is more than annoying and alarming that Norton did that to me without prior warning.
