No, and those posts have nothing to do with my problem. I dont want to scroll with those black arrows. My point is 2010 didnt even have the arrows, you scrolled using your MIDDLE mouse button!

Therefore I'd like to be able to do that within 2011 please.

Hi geewcee,

Bjm was only suggesting a possible workaround to at least be able to scroll in some fashion even if it is not ideal.

I agree with you that the vertical scrollbar should be put back and the ability to scroll with the mousewheel.

Did you check out my previous post here?

I would highly recommend that you add your voice of support to the suggestion of putting things back the way it was in 2010 with the scrollbar, etc.

The more users who voice their support of that suggestion, the more likely Symantec will add it back.

Best wishes.

Allen

Hello geewcee

Thank you for your continued dialog and interest.

I agree with you and support your point that 2011 should be as 2010 with full functional scroll.

Respectfully, if your up/down arrows were problematic / sticky.   I simply tried to offer a possible work around until issue is resolved to your satisfaction.

In no way, was my intent to dismiss or minimize your Topic.

Thank you

Regards

bjm, sorry if my post seemed to come across badly, thats the problem with the internet - people cant always tell in what tone you wrote a post. I know you are only trying to help and it is much appreciated.

Allen, I alread started a thread here about it, I think its in the right place if not let me know please.

Hi geewcee,

Yes that is the correct place and is where I suggsted you adding your voice of support but LOL you are the one who started the topic in the first place. :smileyhappy:

I try to refer people to Norton suggestions like this if they are affected by a problem which the suggestion would address and in this case I recommended that you the thread starter in the first place add your voice of support.

Silly me! Does that make sense? :smileywink:

Best wishes.

Allen
