Many websites now use more than username/password authentication. For instance, my webmail uses my username, password, and zip code. NIS 2010 and 2011 get badly tangled up trying to populate these 3 fields with 2 fields worth of information. Sometimes the username ends up in the zip code field, sometimes it's OK. It's NEVER consistent from one login to the next because each time I correct it, it updates itself... incorrectly.
Please provide support for multi-factor authentication that stores more data fields for authentication.
Here's a screenshot that illustrates the problem perfectly....
Thanks for the good example. We will have to work hard to make sure that we are able to correctly detect and fill this kind of login.
I will pass this along to our development team to see what changes we have planned to better support sites that ask for additional information/authentication.
