I have just started using Identity Safe. I have set up several financial logins. They work set up to autofill when going to the site or set to manual so I have to trigger them when at the site. These are for Schwab, Vanguard, Chase, Wells Fargo, and Capital One.
However nothing seems to work for Fidelity. I have tried both the autologin...I go to the site nothing happens. Or the manual process, I go the site, and choose the available password for this site and then nothing happens. Can a site block Identity Safe?
I am using Windows 7 with Explorer 9 and Norton Security Suite 5.2.0.13
Hello. I have a thread saying that Vanguard does not work. Does it work for you and what URL do you use? When I log in it fills in my username and goes to the password screen and stops. Perhaps I am using an incorrect URL.
The Vanguard site works for me. The link below will take you to the landing page where you'll see that the username login field is blank. Ignore this log on box and instead, look above it to see a "Log On" link at the upper right, in the red-shaded bar. Clicking that should take you to the username page, which should autofill, and you should then be able to click through to the password page, which should also autofill. It works for me - I hope it also works for you.
Thank you and I do not want to take this OT from the OP's issue. Vanguard will put in my username and then go to my password. The password field, however, is blank and I have to type it in.
I have Vanguard setup to autofill when I go to the Vanguard login page. It autofills my login name. I click enter, it goes to the password page, and has entered my password. I check to verify my Vanguard image, then click submit.
I use IDSafe and it goes to page where I click login and my username is there. I check image and say submit and it does go to password page. The password field, however is blank. BUT, if I click submit, it comes back invalid (of course) and the password is now there. I click submit again and it works. Still do not understand this. My url is...
Have you tried deleting your Identity Safe entry for Vanguard and then recreating it by revisiting the site, logging in manually and letting IDS save the log in again?

No, but I will try. Do you want me to go to www.vanguard.com and start from there? I am not sure IDS ever offerred to save my login. I believe I set it up myself.
https://personal.vanguard.com/us/home will work. Again, use the Log On link at the top right, rather than the username box below it on the landing page.

Still the same issue. When I do this the URL is very long and still makes me submit password twice. I did an edit and changed the URL to what you said and no change...I still get blank password and submit the blank. It then says invalid and has the password. I click submit again and it works. Tried in Firefox 11 and IE.
The only other thing I could suggest would be to delete all cookies for Vanguard and retry to create your login. There may be a cookie that is preventing you from altering your log-in process.

In the Edit Login screen, the URL is very, very long.
OK, so is mine...starts like this https://personal.vanguard.com/us/hnwnesc/nesc/LoginPage?........ The only other thing I can try NOW is to remove cookies. In Firefox I will search for Vanguard in the cookie screen and remove them. I will let you know how it goes. in a few minutes!
Nope, nothing I do fixes it. I suppose it does "kind of " work. It is just that the password field is blank and when I click submit it says it is not valid and I then see the password field filled in and can submit again...kind of a double click deal.
I guess I have changed the OP's question long enough now, but I did post in this thread as he implied that Vanguard worked for him as well as you.
