Identity safe

I just upgraded my Norton Internet Security and now I have to log into my Norton Account before I can log into the identity safe. I chated with a support rep (who didn't seem to know what he was doing) and I was told this is because my identity safe is now saved online instead of on my computer. I don't want it saved online, I want it saved on my computer. I don't access it from anywhere other than my desktop. HOW DARE NORTON JUST ASSUME THAT EVERYONE WANTS TO BE "IN THE CLOUD". This needs to be fixed by either putting it back the way it was or changing it so you have an option of where it is stored. I have been using Norton products since the 80's but am about to switch to something else. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? Can I just go back to the loder version?
