I have frequently had the Norton Internet Security "Idle Time Scan" activate during: Entire Drive Copies, Defrag & Optimize the System Drive, and other tasks that require full access to the hard drive to run efficiently.
This is a major inconvenience and it really slows down the tasks that I am trying to accomplish!
I would think that Norton's programmers would be intelligent enough to realize that, just because there is no keyboard or mouse activity, it doesn't mean that the system is idle. Apparently they are pretty clueless when programming the "Idle Time Scan ."
Since they insist on doing this, I will be using a different product when our subscription expires in about a month.
