IE 9 addon issue with norton safety minder

When accessing the internet with norton safety minder, I always get IE has stopped working. This is a performance issue with Internet Explorer 9 on windows 7 x64 based systems.

I have Norton 360 5.1.0.29 on my computer.

When you experience "IE has stopped working", do you get any error messages?

 

Have you tried to use Firefox, do you experience the same issue when using Firefox?

 

Besides Norton 360, do you have any other security products on the PC?

1. No, I did not get any other error messages after I got IE has stopped working, this was caused by Internet Explorer 9 compatibility issue with norton safety minder.

2. With Firefox 4.0.1, Norton Online Family 2.1.0.52 is not compatible.

3. No, I don't have other security products on my computer.

The program is compatible with Internet Explorer 9 and Norton 360.  From what you described, it sounded like the program is not compatible with another security product on the PC.

 

Could you send us a screen shot that says IE has stopped working?

 

Are you able to access websites using Firefox 4.0.1?
