I recently had to turn off Auto Protect off to run an install I know is safe, and unfortunately a trojan (Zeroaccess) was installed in the couple of minutes there was no protection.
Norton cleaned the trojan after a number of reboots and scans, but now whenever I download something using IE10, Norton pops up saying the download is OK, but the download manager says it has deleted it due to detecting a virus. I have tried downloads that I know are 100% safe, so I know IE10 is getting it wrong. I can download OK using FireFox, so not a massive issue, but as IE is my default/preferred browser it would be good to either fix IE10 or turn off the download mamager.
