Something interesting I found.
I was wondering why the default search string has information in it about your norton product, location, and some unique identifiers.
Basically, it is there so they can track you.

I guess everyone wants to be like google.
But in all fairness there is an option on the top right side of the safeweb page that "supposedly" turns it off by enabling "Privacy Guard"
You can use it how it is, I have changed the unique identifier on the system I copied that string from.
If you happen to be someone who would rather not send unique information in the first place, I have found that if you strip off all that info not only is it no longer included in all your search strings. (makes it easier to send links to friends)
It sets the "Privacy SafeGaurd" as permanently ON (because without the unique identifiers there is nothing to link you with the search).
If you use that website tool I posted to generate the search provider, all you really need for the url is this:
http://nortonsafe.search.ask.com/web?q=TEST
If you already used the tool to add the search provider you can go to:
tools > manage addons > search providers
Set something else as default and delete the Safeweb provider you generated and make a new one with the shorter string.
The choice is up to you.
This is only for people like me who did not have the accelerator availible in the forst place, I do not recomend anyone with an existing option for Safe Search to be changing things.
