Tonight, internet explorer stopped working on all 3 of my computers while I had a pressing work issue. I have traced the problem to a norton file that was downloaded to my PC just as the problem was happening. file is C:\Program Files\Norton 360\NortonData\21.1.1.7\Definitions\IPSDefs\20150220.001\IPSEng32.dll. There is a conflict between ie and this dill per my Event Log. This took many hours of troubleshooting on my part but I have finally identified the source of the problem to be the Norton update on my computer this evening. Please fix the problem and please test it before you deploy it to customer computers. This mistake on Norton's part has cost me a lot of sleep. I tried to chat about it with customer support but there were 31 people in front of me in the chat queue, and it is 2 am and I need sleep. All of this was brought on by untested dlls from Norton. I am disgusted.
