With last MS update (Windows 10 version 1607) using IE11 (version 11.0.41 (KB4014661])), have been getting pop-up "Do you want to allow this website to open an app on this computer?" Only options available are "allow" "cancel" or close the pop-up (using X). I have never allowed it to do so. This occurs on multiple sites. It does not occur when using Chrome.
Is there a way to eliminate the pop-up? Or maybe find out what the app is so I can make a choice?
