IE7, Firefox, and Chrome all crash with Identity safe enabled as of last Norton Update

Hi, As of the last major update of NIS, which required a reboot of my PC, I can no longer go to a web page without crashing IE 7 version 7.0.5730.13, FireFox 14.0.1 and Chrome 21.0.1180.79m. I was able to access this web page before the update and if I disable the Identity Safe plugin then all 3 browsers are able to go to this web page. I would be willing to provide Symantec access to this web page if they desire. It will reliably cause the problem. My PC is running Windows XP Pro with all the patches. Thanks.

Sorry for the issue you are facing. Already we are tracking similar issues internally  and we are working on it.

 

Could you provide the website in which you are facing the crash, we will check this also.

Hi,

 

We have released a patch for this issue. In order to get this patch, Please run live update until it shows "Your Norton product now has latest protection updates" and Restart the computer whenever it requires for a reboot, then check the issue again.
