OK I'm taking a new approach to post better questions. No longer will I just search looking for problems. I will take the advice that so many have given and only post when there is a real problem.
NAV2008
Vista Home Premium
Vista Service pack 1
So here it is. I went to a certain website (www.sportingnews.com) and attempted to print out a page. When I went to print preview in the IE7 tool bar, my IE7 shut down. I use Vista so I went to the "problem history"
It showed that IE7 app crash
and
the fault miodule was mshtml.dll
Now I was able to view the page, but it shut down when I tried to preview print ( I didn't even get to attempt print)
I tried it sevral times all with the same result
All my scans have come up clean as recent as this morning
So now the questions are
1. Is this a sign of maliciousness on my computer?
2. where would I find mshtml.dll (in what folders?)
3. Do I need to uninstall it and then go and reinstall it and if so how would I do that?
I am able to view the page in question and I am able to print other pages. Just seems to occur on the page I mentioned
I am able to print preview the page in question on an XP machine with IE6
