IE8 Norton toolbar displays but does not work

I upgraded to IE8 a few days ago.

 

The Norton toolbar displays in IE8, but I cannot get the toolbar buttons to work. (Identity Safe & Log-ins)

Try to run LiveUpdate from your Norton program repeatedly until you see the message “No more Updates”.  Then restart the computer and check whether the Norton toolbar is working.

I already tried that and it did not make any difference.

 

The toolbar displays OK.

 

The Phishing Protection button appears to work OK as the drop down list appears.

 

However when I mouse over the Identity Safe button, I get the "Click here to access your Identity Safe Cards" message, but clicking the button does nothing.

Hi travelfrog,

 

What is the Operating System you are running in your system ? What version of Norton Internet security you are currently using? Do you have any plugins Installed ?
