IE9, Firefox6.0 and Nortons

I have 2 computers here one with Vista and one with windows 7. They both have IE9 and Firefox 6.0 along with Nortons antivirus installed on them.

Both of these 2 systems are expericing the same problem. When you use IE9 or Firefox 6.0 and try to go to microsoft.com or there hotmail site they seemed to be blocked from connecting to the servers.

I have tryed resetting notons antivirus to default and reset IE9 and Firefox 6.0 internet options and security options to the default settings along with disabling the nortons antivirus bars for the explores. I have enven turned of the smart firewall, the antivirus realtime scan, the safe surfing, the Identy safe, silent mode, the backup, the backup overlays, the Automatic liveupdate and Norton Tamper Protection. Then tryed to conect to microsoft.com to no avial. The Brwosers (both of them) still time out and are unable to connect to the server.

I have gone into Nortons and look at the permissions to see if the Smart Firewall was blocking the microsoft website and found found them to be in the allowed status. I have also checked the browsers to make sure that microsoft was not in the blocked URL's and found nothing there.

This is an interesting problem becouse the 3 other comps Running XP with IE7 and Firefox 6.0 with nortons installed on them do not experiance this problem.

If anyone could help and point me in the right direction to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it.
