I have NIS 2008 with the latest updates on Vista Home Premium, so my question is...
...why doesn't it detect these two very nasty spyware and malware applications (IEAntivirus and MalwareBell) immediately upon download, and not even when custom scanned??
I have even tried installing them, but NIS didn't step in before I myself chickened out on testing it after being prompted by the malware setup to choose installation language...
There could be a couple of reasons. A lot of people don't have their antivirus configured to scan all files. Read this: configuring NAV

Good luck.
