Does your IE 11 browser always open at the normal home page, or do you notice other odd behaviour when IE 11 opens (e.g., music playing from your computer speakers, re-directs to a web page other than your home page)?
The IE 11 users in the forum might know a simple solution to this problem, but this type of behaviour is often caused by malware. If an NIS full scan doesn't detect anything, I'd advise that you try a full system scan with the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware scanner to see if MBAM can detect any PUPs (potentially unwanted programs) or PUMs (potentially unwanted modifications) that might have been missed by NIS.
The Malware Discussion board in this forum was recently closed so if MBAM doesn't resolve this problem then you should register with one of the following reputable free malware removal sites where a malware expert will work with you one-on-one to clean your system. I've used the What theTech site myself and was very impressed with the help they provided.
