Illegal Norton Torrents (Angry Norton Customer)

*First off, let me say that this post is not asking for help with a Symantec/Norton product and I am sorry for taking forum space and no hard feelings if this gets deleted =)  Just didn't know where else to say this...

Hi, thanks for taking time to read my post.

A few days ago I typed in "Norton Internet Security 2010 Review" on Bing and Google and like an entire page showed up with the following keywords.. "Norton Internet Security 2010 Crack/Keygen/Serial/Trial Reset" on torrent sites.  Now, I am well aware of the torrents out there and I am sure you are so I am not suprised that my search results were flooded with such crap BUT, it got me thinking.

I am no better off than anyone else but I am a paying customer of my programs such as Norton and I have been for many years.  How do these websites and users get away with this?

I know that Vendors like Symantec and all of the others on the sites (like huge company MICROSOFT)  have to be well aware of their products being illegally used by probably millions of people.

I asked this question on Yahoo Answers and got replies such as, "some of us cannot afford the unbelievable prices on such software and this is our way of protesting against the prices"

Forgive me but, when it comes to Security there is like a hundred free alternatives right?

So.. Is there a place to report such sites?  I do not want to sound like a lil rat or something but when I shell out almost 100.00 to protect my pc and support symantec so that they can keep developing great software I just do not think it is fair for some loser to get a free serial from an illegal source and get the same service as us paying customers.

Sorry for going on and on.

~Eric.
