IM Content blank

Hi,

I'm trying to view the content of an IM between my son and a new 'friend', but the content is blank or just says, "IM session".  I assumed that this only happened when someone was sending from their cell phone to him (blank), but now am getting the "IM session" response from other known email addresses.  Any help solving this issue?

The ‘chat view’ option is already turned on.  It doesn’t seem to work when someone is IM-ing from a phone.  Unless anyone else knows how to get around this??

Could you tell us what chat client they are using...Yahoo, AIM when they do the IM from a phone?

AIM/ICQ  - Everyone he talks to uses the same service, but it is the messages sent from a single phone number (there are no others that come up like this) that I can never view.  Occassionally other conversations will just say "[IM session]", but this page is blank (with an advertisement on one side, only).
