I'm feeling cheated

I've been automatically renewing my NAV license for years. Last time, a couple of months ago, it cost me about AU$60. However, I recently bought two new computers - a replacement desktop and a new netbook. I wanted to move the NAV license to the new desktop and then get additional coverage for my netbook.

This hit a snag when I found I couldn't load NAV onto the new dektop without being told I had installed it on too many machines and I should buy another license (at AU$60). I called the helpdesk and it was sorted out in a few minutes (they gave me a new license for the new machine and expired the on on the old machine.) Then I looked around the Norton website to see how to extend my license to cover my netbook. Basically I can't. I need to by a second, single-PC license, at AU$60, for the second machine.

I might have just taken this on the chin if I hadn't accidentally strayed into the UK product list (instead of the Aussie one). There, I can buy a 3-PC licence for GBP30 - less than a 1-PC licence here in Australia! If I'd bought that second licence from the Australian site, I'd have paid a total of AU$120 for the same coverage I could get in the UK for about AU$45! I can't understand why the UK can get a deal like this while Australians are being fleeced. Does anybody have an explanation?
