I'm having trouble logging into my vault account from the icon located on my web browser, after renewing & upgrading my norton subscription

The laptop I purchased came with the Norton subscription for free for one year (windows 8). In that time I downloaded the Identity Safe Vault feature and it was working perfectly as long as I signed into it after turning my laptop on.

I have recently renewed my subscription and upgraded to Norton 360. But when I try to sign into my vault account from the icon on the top left part of my browser (internet explorer) reading "Vault is closed", it directs me to first sign into my Norton account. This is where there's a problem because it tells me before logging into my vault account, that I have to sign into my Norton account first. Well when I enter my password and accepts it, it keeps taking me back to the vault page saying I need to log into my Norton account first before logging into my vault account. And keeps on doing this over and over again.

It appears that for some reason the server is having trouble connecting/linking my Norton account with my vault account...I think. However I am able to log into my vault account normally when I do it by going to the Norton website. Still, the vault is not opened during my web browsing because it won't remember my email address and passwords to sites I have listed within my vault. The icon on the top left of my screen still reads "Vault is closed".
