After using McAfee for many years I have decided to move across to Symantec. I have been looking at the 360 V4 product but have got myself confused.
I've worked out that between the normal and premier editions it's just online storage amounts are different. What I would like to know is what is the different between Norton 360 V4 Premier Edition and ithe Netbook Premier Edition?
Netbook Edition is the same as the Standard Edition of Norton 360 (it includes 2GB online storage space). The only difference between the two is that Std is on a CD, Nb is on a USB-key (if you buy boxed one versions). If you buy them as a download, there's no difference.

Thanks in advance.
The Netbook edition is optimsed for Netbooks with battery saver and set up for lower resolution screens etc. It will use less resources on a Netbook than a full product version.
Thanks for the replies. Would the netbook version run ok on my Toshiba u400-15b laptop? The reason I ask is because I have a laptop and my wife and daughter have netbooks so don’t want to buy two products if the netbook version will do the job on all three?

It would probably run but since I haven't done that or know anyone who has done so I can't comment with any certainty.
I think you would be better having the non-netbook product on your Laptop PC.
As a side note both products are very light on system resopurces.
Ideally it is probably better to use the netbook version of the netbook and the full version on the laptop.
But if you want to have a single product I would recommend going with the full version which will also work on your netbook. It is not fully optimized for netbooks but is supported. Just make sure the netbook meets the minimum system requirements before making a final decision.
As mdturner said I don't know of anyone running the netbook version on a laptop.
