I'm seeing three bugs with NIS and windows 8

I'm seeing three bugs, that others are discussing online as well, with the latest version of NIS and windows 8.

 

  1. With NIS installed and running, trying to "restart" windows 8 stalls. It never completes. Manually turning it off and on allows it to reboot. Once NIS is removed (had to for next issue), the issue resolves itself. 
  2. When anti virus is temporarily disabled, it will not re-enable. Red X stays on. Running trouble shooter and live update does not help. ONly solution is to uninstall and reinstall NIS.
  3. Still issue with Win8 reporting that NIS is off, when it is on.
