I'm so frustrated with the Norton product!

I purchased a new laptop in Feb., 2011.  The Norton Internet Security was preloaded.  When it was about to expire, I purchased a 1 yr subscription on-line.  I paid the $49 for it on 4/8/11.  It's been fine (I think!) until the last few days when I started getting messages that my trial subscription was about to expire.  I ignored them thinking I had already downloaded the program that I paid for (altho it never asked me for a product key).  I did get a window that flashed very quickly saying my download was successful.  Now I'm getting all kinds of messages about having viruses.  And my Norton toolbar says "License expired" & "Identify Safe-Expired".  I'm not a computer guru so much of the technical info goes over my head.  I JUST WISH I COULD TALK TO SUPPORT ON THE PHONE!  I've always had very good success with someone talking me through problems.  It's hard to get the message across in e-mails.  And support keeps sending me problems I can click on but they don't answer my questions.  HELP, HELP, HELP!!!
