I recently purchased a new laptop that runs Vista. My old laptop runs an app that I cannot reinstall into Vista. I was hoping to run the old XP in a virtual machine under Vista.
I need to know if I can use Ghost to:
- Create image (assume this is the correct term) of the old XP
- Create virtual machine on Vista (done this already)
- Restore image of old XP into virtual machine
Is the Ghost the correct tool for the job?
If it is, then:
- What are the correct steps for this process?
- Are there any tricks and traps?
If not, then open to suggestions on how to move XP to Vista virtual machine.
Thanks in advance
Brad
