Can some of you good folk of the Norton Community test with Firefox and see if you can attach images to messages. For some reason on two of my three machines when I click the IMCE button, upload an image, then click on the image, the image will open in a new tab instead of posting to the message. All three of my machines are running Win10 x64 1809 and have Firefox 65.0.2 (64-bit) configured exactly the same using the same extensions.
For those unsure of how to post images please see this post.
Yeah, maybe... I didn't think to compare the settings with this (other) machine. Still something strange on the wilderssecurity forum though. If I @mention someone on that machine it doesn't work unless I fill out their entire name. On this machine after the first three letters and the suggestions show, I click on their username and the rest of the letters get auto-filled, if you know what I mean?
FWIW ~ Firefox 65.0.2 (64-bit) > IMCE works okay, for me. I'm not 1809. I always use 'Insert file' after 'Upload'. But, "click on the image" also works okay.
I just noticed on the affected machines I don't have a "Insert File" link. Instead, on this machine I have a "Search" button with a blue dot.
@ The forum Admin, is anyone going to see if they can reproduce this bug? I received an alert that @Kevin had opened a ticket, but that post was deleted almost as soon as it was posted.
There should be no difference between my three machines except hardware. I would appreciate if someone else (thanks @bjm_) could see if they could reproduce this bug.
