I am having to reload my Desktop W7 OS to get rid of a few issues. I have just renewed my Norton 360 AV Software Licence. Please could you tell me what Norton's policy is on re- installing the AV Software back onto the same PC?
Thanks and Best wishes.

Harold,
You can reload your software as necessary. If you have a problem with the activation key not working post back and we'll get that fixed too.
I would uninstall Norton before doing the reload and if there was a different security product or a trial version of one I'd uninstall that after the reinstall and before attempting to reinstall the software. Here are the links to the Norton products so that you can get the job done quicker.
http://norton.com/latestnav (NAV)
or
http://norton.com/latestnis (NIS)
Be sure to run live update after you install and activate your new coopy to bring it up to the minute.
Keep us posted
As you are using Norton 360, the easiest way to reinstall your product would be to log into your Norton Account at https://account.norton.com Then click on the yellow Download button beside your current subscription. This will download and install the latest version of your 360.
NOTE: If you are using a local vault for Identity Safe and you want to retain that, please post back here before you do anything. You will lose the local capability if you just reinstall the latest version.
Hi Dick. Thanks for your prompt reply and advice. I have saved the links, that you provided, for when I reload the system. Best Wishes Harry H

Harry,
We're always 'at hand' just not always so 'close'. You happened to post around the time that I was taking a break from working. I'm not sure peterweb needs an excuse
Our purpose is to 'be here' for the useres and to provide you with the best assistance we can. Collectively, we're pretty good
Stay well and surf safe

As Dick says, we are all here to help. But as volunteers, life can get in the way sometimes, but we do try to keep an eye on things here.
Just a quick note. The links Dick gave were for Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security.
The links for your Norton 360 would be www.norton.com/latestn360 for the Standard version, or www.norton.com/latestn360p for the Premier version.
Edit: correction to link...Thanks Krusty13

The links for your Norton 360 would be www.norton.com/latestn360s for the Standard version, or www.norton.com/latestn360p for the Premier version.
Hi Peter,
You nearly had it right.
The Standard version is www.norton.com/latestn360 without the 'S'.
