My system config appears below. Today after starting InPrivate Browsing in IE11 Norton displayed the following message: "Your PC is not protected by SONAR Advanced Protection". The Security block is red on the main Security Suite screen.
I clicked on "Fix Now" and the status shows "Fixing SONAR Protection", but ultimately get the message "Fix not complete"; "SONAR Protection" "Not Fixed".
I closed the browser, rebooted the pc, and upon logging on I open Norton Security Suite, and Security status is "Protected". I then initiate an InPrivate Browsing session, and the error reoccurs (and "Fix Now" issue).
I closed the browser, rebooted again, and after logging on I did not reinitiate the InPrivate Browsing session and everything is fine--leading me to believe there is some incompatibility between that and SONAR, considering I have never seen this issue before, or since.
What do I have to do so I can use InPrivate Browsing to where SONAR is not affected?
