Incorrect mssages that my Norton subscription expired

I have Norton 360 Deluxe for Windows 10, and renewed my subscription  just over a month ago.  I just got some concerning messages about my subscription ending.  First I got a big screen display that my subscription had ended and I could renew, or just depend on Windows Defender.  I said not renew.  Then I got MyNorton window saying my free trial was ending.  Then eventually after a PC restart, it seems to have come back up with the regular Norton antivirus service I had before.

I did notice a "hotfix" process in task manager that worried me that something was wrong with my Windows system.  But now I see about a Norton hotfix several days ago.  Could this "hotfix" be just getting to me and causing all these incorrect panic-inducing messages about my subscription ending, or  is something going terribly wrong I should be concerned about?
