Incorrect Warning about Live Update

(Note: My specification is in my attachment)

OS: Win XP SP3

Product: Norton Anti-Virus 2010

Browser: IE 8, Firefox 3.6

Description:

Normally, when I run live update, the update will be downloaded and applied, if any. Then the main window will tell me how much time has eclipsed since last time I run live update (For example, if I updated just 1 minute ago, it will display 1 minute ago).

Now, when I run live update, the update will be downloaded and applied, if any. BUT Norton Antivirus will prompt me to fix the problem relating to update even though I have the latest update downloaded and applied. That stopwatch apparently did not give correct information (it will tell me, for example, x hours ago even though I just run live update in the last few minutes!).

I have used Official Norton Remover Tool to remove my product, then reinstalled it with the installation files downloaded from official norton website, which ONLY solved the problem temporarily. That meant, the stopwatch will give correct information, then started to malfunction after a few hours. Repeatedly running live update DID NOT solve my problem.

I repeated again and the result is the same. Again, the same.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
