I've had this poblem in the past, see this thread but it has not been an issue for several months. My incremental backups have been running every week without problem. My OS is Windows XP professional and I'm running the latest version of Ghost 15, 15.0.1.36526. Last night I noticed that the backup was hanging at 1%, so I stopped the back up shut the computer off and restarted. Tried to run the back up again, but no luck.
Prior to this backup I had 4 older recovery points saved, so this morning I decided to consolidate them. Ghost performed that function without a problem. After that I tried the back same thing it is hanging at 1%. Maybe two or three times this month the computer has not shut down normally, but other backups have run after that occurred. I've checked in eventviewer and don't see any errors there. Anyway, before I go and define a new job is there anything else that I can check or do to make this work? Thanks.
