Hmmmmm…maybe I’ll need to do some more detective work. Based on what I can see on my external drive, it looks as if every file is being fully backed up every time, whether or not it’s changed–but perhaps that’s not the case. Interesting that it’s incremental, when there’s nothing in the software or the Help files that indicates this is so. In fact, in looking through the Help files under “Backup,” there’s not even a mention of incremental…and typing in “incrementasl” gets no results at all!
On N360 v2, I can’t find any setting that would allow me to make incremental backups. I’m backup up to an external hard drive, which has a lot of room…but it’s a pain to have it so bloated with files I’ve already backed up!
Hello jcm.
Backup in N360 v2 IS incremental.
Once you set up backup to backup what files and/or folders you want, and run the 1st backup, any file changes or new files added in a folder will be backed up when you:
A) Run backup manually.
B) When a scheduled backup runs.
Is this not working correctly for you?
