Incremental backups fail with CRC error even with Ignore bad sectors checked.

I am using  Ghost 14.0.0.24815 and am only able to run backups each evening. If I attempt to run incrementals, a few succeed but I eventually get a CRC error similar to below.  I have selected “Ignore bad sectors during copy” and have run chkdsk /f/r several times without errors.  Can anyone explain why the full backups work flawlessly but the incrementals fail with the CRC error?
