I have not been able to upload pictures to the Norton Community Site for a while now. I wrote a post and received several suggestions, in an attempt to solve the problem. Nothing seemed to help and now the original post has been locked. I even tried the Microsoft Forums and again received a lot of solutions but nothing helped. I could upload images using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.13 and using other PC's using IE7 but not with IE8.
Today I ran the OSI program and received a note that I needed to upgrade my copy of Adobe Flash Player from version 10 to version 10.2.152.26. I can now upload images to the Community again. There must have been a problem between IE8 and Flash Player 10, that the latest update corrected.
I hope this solution can help someone else with the Insert/Edit image problem.
