I still use Ghost 12 with Windows 7, install Ghost 14 on Win7 ignore the compatibility warning and it will perform ok, you can only try it.

Did you try on Windows 7 64-bit? I actually installed Ghost 9 on Windows 7 32-bit in Windows Virtual Machine. I had to change some of the .exe files to compatibility mode for XP, but it did work. Would I trust it? I'm not sure. I cannot try on Windows 7 64-bit. I think that is where the real problem is. Plus, how do the versions of Ghost before 15 handle the SRP?

Sorry Red,
I just picked up on this message, I haven't got a clue my systems are 32 bit and I have never experienced SRP because all my drives are "plain". I fully trust my copy of Ghost 12 on Win7 32bit I prefer it over Ghost 15.
I have the same problem. We have been using Ghost 2003 for the past 3-4 years to clone XP. Now we are upgrading our PC's to Windows 7 and need to be able to deploy the same image on our PC's. We had purchased Ghost 15. Other than trying to get a copy of v15 is there any other EASY solution??/
It should be noted that it only happens on some systems. Also in most cases you can click "cancel" and the system will boot into the restored operating system.
Ghost 14 may not be completly compatible with windows 7 but it doesn't matter because your not going to install it, your only using the recovery disk to restore a Ghost 15 image.
