Hello, the background service "Insight Maintenance" has disappeared for a few weeks. Reinstalling it did not help. Does this affect the protection of my PC? Picture attached.

Since MS Update of today (KB5022906) everything is working again as it should do. No more problems.
Following up with the thread. Did you get the latest release update to 22.23.1.21? If so did it correct the issue?

Hello again. Ensure you are logging into the computer using an Admin account. Then, determine if fast startup is enabled or disabled. If enabled, disable it and reboot the machine.

To only remove your Norton device security product, click Advanced Options and then click Remove Only. Pay close attention to step # 5 in the Norton article.
Follow on screen prompts to restart your machine. Afterwards log into your Norton account to reinstall your Norton product and run live updates to install all patches that are available. Make sure you reboot as each patch is installed whether prompted to do so or not. This will ensure the patches are installed separately and completely. Perform a final restart.

Hello, the problem still exist. My computer also does not scan automatically, only manually. I have reinstalled Norton Security several times with no change. My OS: Windows 10 22H2 19045.2546

Still present under the following settings on Norton Security Ultra, version 22.22.11.12 on both Windows 10 Pro and Windows 11 Home latest updated versions.
Edited: bibbes what is your OS and its version as well as your Norton product and its version? Your screenshot shows an older Norton icon in the bottom left corner which is the reason for asking.

Please run LiveUpdate + machine Restart (not Shut down).
