Install on another computer

I got a new computer and want to download my current Norton antivirus 2010 subscription to it.  I know I can download it on up to 3 computers but that's where I run into the snag. It was already on 3 computers so I uninstalled it from my old laptop but it still wont activate with my product key. Is there a way to activate it without buying another product key?
