I installed Norton Internet Security 2011 Performance Pack. On the screen where you enter the product key there seems to be something called "install options" which I didnt notice when I was installing.
Can anyone tell me what the install options are? I just put in my product key, and pressed agree and install.
On NIS itself, I am pretty certain that Install Options that comes up during installation merely offers you the ability to change the location in which it is installed -- like the drive or the folder.
Not quite sure why it is there since we get told that we should let Norton install in its default position since otherwise we can run into trouble.
In any case when I last looked to see what it did there was no problem in back tracking although I don't remember whether it was just an OK since the default location was shown or a CANCEL ..... so I don't see any harm in you looking to see what it offers.
Yeah, I havent even installed the utilities disk yet. All I was wondering was what's in the "install options" of NIS. As I said I just put in my product key and pressed agree and install without noticing the install options part.
Ok, so it seems to be just a different installation location. I thought it might been something to do with settings or something.

I can't be positive it is only that with what you have since I don't know what the Performance Pack does/includes but I don't see any harm in clicking on it and backing out if necessary.
