I've had my Toshiba Satellite A505 (Win7) laptop for a while now, but only recently activated the NIS trial. Installation completed and then upgraded to the most recent version of NIS.
Now, all of my libraries, desktop items, and documents from before the installation seem to be gone! Using system restore did nothing... still gone.
Strangely enough, my old files can be accessed by using a recent files list in programs such as MS Word or MS Excel. Trying to navigate to the appropriate folder that should contain the file shows me nothing. The folders and files are non-existent in windows explorer.
What's going on and what should I do?
