Issue abstract: When I try to install Norton 360, I receive the error 44001
Detailed description: I get problems with Norton Cloud Storage. So, I unistall Norton using Norton 360 Remover.Exe in the Safe Mode of Windows 11 (I wasn’t able to do this in the Normal Mode). Now, I can’t reinstall Norton 360. I tried to uninstall System Mechanic and CCleaner (considering the hypothesis of these apps is conflicting with Norton, but without success).
Now, I am without Antivirus.

Ps.: I tried to send the file Icarus.Log, but I wasn’t able because it is very big and I am not allowed to upload it because I am a new user.

What is the error message you are seeing? Error 44001

Were you running the latest version 26.6.11050 when you used the Norton Remover app? Did you use the remove only option?
If you were using an earlier 360 ver 22.x.x.x, you need to use the older Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool from www.norton.com/nrnr . Again you want to use the remove only option.
Although I never cared about the version of Norton 360, I assume that I had the latest version. After all, I always kept the Norton updated.
In the beginning, I used Norton Remover App, but without success. Only when I was to safe mode, I was able to use it;and, when this happened, I used the option Remove and Reinstall Norton. Norton Remover removed Norton, make my PC restart, but, when the PC was to reinstall Norton, the installation failed. And, now, I can’t reinstall Norton, not even in safe mode.
Now, finally, I was able to install Norton 360 again. I don’t know precisely what I did, what is bad because I don’t know what I need to know in order to avoid that this problem repeats.

Maybe you did a system restart again that straightened things out.
