On installing NIS 2009 yesterday I had a problem so used the live chat to help.
i was getting an error message 'SymMV.sys' on Symantec Network security Intermediate filter Drive is needed.(when the task 'installing drivers' was being done)
Type the path where the file is located and then click OK.
The 'path' was already typed in the box but clicking OK didn't seem to work so I went for the online help.
I chose the remote option and all went well, I could see what was being done and installation was completed.
On restarting, i clicked on the outlook icon on my desktop and it opened up, brand new, as if i had never used it before.
I have no idea where all my old emails are?
I have set up this outlook to at least send/receive but i haven't got it quite to look like i am used to, but more to the point where is the old outlook and why does it seem to have been removed?
has anyone else had this experience/
needless to say I am in a state of mild panic as this is potentially disastrous for me!
