Installed NAV 21.0.2.1

Hi All...

I just installed NAV 21.0.2.1. The install went fine, with one exception.

How dare you install your identity safe without even asking permission!

There are many that did not like this added feature being installed. As long as you do not activate the vault it will not affect your system

You can also look in Windows Control Panel Programs for the Identity Safe program and uninstall from there.

I agree with Karl, there really should be an option to install it or not.

It's a totally seperate program that is getting installed, it's not like it is now "built in" to NAV.

Since it was never installed before in all the versions of NAV prior to 2013, the user really should get a choice.

When you purchase and install one program the normal expectation is to not get a second program installed without asking.

Just my opinion.

It is almost behaving like the McAfee download you get with Adobe products, except you do not get the option to not accept the 'extras'.

Hey - Do you guys mean sort of like all that extra crud - (Oops goodness - Yes, yes, I meant goodness) that gets shoved on your desktop every time you install an Intuit product? :smileysurprised:  Gee, what an interesting coincidence...  :smileyvery-happy:
