Installing new registration key over old 360 v 4 version

I have purchased a new version of 360 v 4, to take advantage of the a cash back offer I would like to activate and install the new version before the existing one runs out.. I have uninstalled the old version fully but when I installed the new version it has automatically taken the the old key again. There must be some where still entry's with the registration key on it.

How can I fully uninstall 360? So I can reinstall my lasted copy?

Any Help very much appreciated since the offer stops Monday 13.09.2010.

Regards Ueli

Is there a place at the bottom of the screen on your product that says "Express Renewal?"  If you click on that, you will find a place to insert the key.

Hello uelik

Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

If you enter a new product key into your N360, you will lose any remaining days on your current subscription. Does the cashback require you to activate the program now? Usually, you just enter the new key into the program a day or 2 before your subscription runs out. If you want to extend your subscription for a year, I would suggest then that you contact customer support via the free chat program. Please tell customer support what you want to do and they should be able to help you with that.

This is the link for US/Can. If you need a different location, please consult your local Symantec site for the local free chat customer support link.

Please come back and let us know how you made out. Thanks.

Thanks for the advice I have spoken to customer support via chat and all is fixed ad I got the rebate back before it ended. I was aware I would loose the remaining days but at the final cost of A $ 29.00 for three pc's it was all worth wile.
