I am posting this for a friend who is unable to access the web.
O/S is Win7. Without NIS Google loads fine. During install of NIS it downloads updates. After install it can not find server to activate licence. Can still ping to bbc.co.uk so internet is still working. Have set proxy to auto detect. Makes no difference. IE can not connect to google now.
Also tried to install 360 v4.0 (friend has a copy of this that has only had one licence used) this has the same symptoms but now it won't uninstall!!!!
Can someone please help?
