So, we are tracking an issue that I wanted to let you know about.
If you install NIS 4 for Mac on a machine with Firefox 3.0.10 installed (just 10 and higher), Firefox is being put into the trash. All you need to do is put it back into your applications folder, but obviously this is a bug that we just found today and are looking at a fix for it.
I can go into a lengthy technical explanation, but suffice to say, the code didn't like a double digit in that version number.
I apologize for the inconvenience and will let you know when the fix is up.
This only impacts users who are newly installing the product with that version of Firefox installed.
